How to ensure ISO standards keep on delivering top benefits
Date : 20 January 2011
ISO has just published two new brochures aimed at the continual improvement of the processes employed by the organization and its partners to develop International Standards that provide benefits for business, government and society.
ISO standards, of which there are more than 18 500 in its current portfolio, are built on international consensus and input from the broadest possible range of stakeholders. The new brochures provide guidance for, respectively, the national standards bodies that provide delegations to participate in developing ISO standards, as well as over 500 liaison organizations from the public and private sectors with a stake in one or more specific aspects of ISO’s work, such as standards for health, safety or the environment.
